Our Dogs - Drenoss

Drenoss was first registered in the 1960's by Denise's parents, Dennis and Ross Cartwright. Denise later gained an interest in the affix and after the loss of Ross in 2006 Sue and Denise took it over.

In the early days Drenoss was all about rough collies, then in the early 80s came the Australian cattle dogs. Drenoss Red Wyola was very influential in the early days of the breed, winning BIS at the first ever show(his mother Formakin Kimba at D. was RBIS). He won BIS twice more, the last time aged 11, and is behind many of today's dogs. Our current Australian Cattle Dogs include Ch Tarilly Access All Areas at Drenoss who won his 9th and final cc at the ACD of GB Ch Show under Australian breed specialist Mr John Birch at the age of 9.  His daughter Ch Yarraman Takina to Drenoss won her 8th and final cc at Crufts 2016 under breed specialist Mr Jeff Nanetti.  They are both now retired from the show ring.  We wanted to introduce the lovely Queblue lines from Australia and imported our beautiful red bitch Queblue Warratah with Drenoss.  Finally her companion in crime is our gorgeous new breed - the Picardy Sheepdog Jaida des Garous D'Ebene avec Drenoss.  Lilli-lu has made a great start introducing the breed to the showring in the UK.  She loves showing and has so far been awarded 5 best Import Register at Ch shows over here, We hope to be making a trip to France in the very near future, with the exciting prospect of a litter of puppies.

Ch Tarilly Access All Areas at Drenoss aka Tirri(8ccs) in the showring and collecting the fruit crop at home!
